Do you like trains?
Alaska Live Steamers is a group of scale outdoor railroad enthusiasts operating a non-profit 7 1/2 inch gauge railroad in Wasilla, Alaska. We are all volunteers and find varoius ways to share our love of railroading.
Volunteers can help in many ways:

Mow grass, weed flowers.

Tell your train stories.

Learn to be a conductor and help take visitors on train rides.

Interview others about their experiences.
There are two types of membership available on an annual basis.
Regular Member. A Regular Member (18 years or older) has the privilege of one vote and right to
hold office. Only one person (18 and older) per membership may hold office and or cast one vote for the
membership. Regular membership is a family membership. Regular Members may operate their own, organizations', or loaned equipment.
Junior Member. A person who is not part of a regular membership family, through the age of 12 and
17 years (inclusive) sponsored by a Regular or Life member in good standing, under the direct responsibility of the sponsor. Junior Members will not have the privilege to vote or hold office.
